The organization of production

Uncompromising productivity and quality

The plant's technological prowess is enhanced by the technical expertise of its workforce, experience gained on traditional machinery that proves invaluable during the most delicate stages of the production flow, especially when human input complements the work of the machinery.

The production organization includes:

  1. Technical Office: The technical office plays a crucial role in project design and development. It handles CAD design, technical drawing preparation, production planning, and product technical specifications. It collaborates closely with other departments to ensure project execution is successful.
  2. Production departments: Production is divided into functional areas:
  3. Laser Department: This section is responsible for cutting sheet metal using the 15,000-watt CUTLITE PENTA PLUS fiber laser. This laser cutting system creates precise, high-quality parts according to project specifications. The department is also equipped with an Intermac Primus 324 waterjet cutting system, which allows for the execution of a variety of highly versatile jobs.
  4. Welding Department: This area performs welding operations to assemble metal parts. Using TIESSE 6-AXIS WELDING ROBOT with Fronius CMT welding and welding techniques, the welding department joins the various metal parts to form the required components or structures.
  5. Bending Department: This department is responsible for bending sheet metal to obtain the desired shapes. The VICLA 170/41 SUPERIOR press brake was recently installed, a strategic investment that allows us to offer extremely high-precision bending services, even on very thick and long sheets of metal. Using the SCHIAVI STP - C7 ASSI hydraulic press, our technicians bend sheet metal according to project specifications and create parts with precise geometries.
  6. Chip Removal Department (Drills, Lathes, and Milling Machines): This section handles the mechanical processing of metal components, using machines such as drills, lathes, and CNC milling machines.
  7. Quality Control: The quality control department ensures that manufactured products meet required quality standards. It conducts tests, visual inspections, measurements, and checks to verify product compliance with technical specifications. This department plays a key role in ensuring that finished products meet quality requirements before being delivered to customers.
  8. Raw materials and finished goods warehouse: The warehouse manages the inventory of raw materials used in production, such as sheet metal and other necessary materials. It also handles the management and storage of finished products, ready for shipment or subsequent assembly.

The production organization at MS SANTINELLO metalwork is based on a clear division of tasks and departments, ensuring efficient flow of operations, effective project management, and thorough quality control of finished products.
